About us

Ella Fitzgerald, along with other great artists, sings again and again with her grandiose voice for us on the dance floor and has therefore appeared in the name of our dance school. If you are interested in who we are, what our goals and ideas are, then you’ve come to the perfect place. We all love Lindy hop and we really enjoy passing this enthusiasm on. As five friends, we spend a lot of time together. That is why it excites us even more to open a new dance school. We want to create a place where beginners could learn the basics, swing dancers could train and celebrate. We think that the Lindy world has something to offer for each person. This not only includes learning the basics and enjoying the first improvements, but also the moments when you get lost in the music and time flies by. The wholesome feeling after dancing, when you can sense your own body and have simply forgotten the stress of everyday life. If you happen to get Lindy fever, we can introduce you to the Lindy world. This includes exploring the many social floors in Zurich, taking the first courageous steps on the dance floor with new people, getting to know the small but exquisite Lindy scene in Zurich and all of Switzerland. If that’s not enough, you can let off steam at festivals in other cities and countries around the world. There you can get to know other Swing dance styles or get involved in the first competitions. Fabienne

Empathic, spontaneous and a bit quirky – with Meret you will feel like coming back home and going on a thrilling adventure at the same time.
